Before you return an IJOR product, we kindly ask that you understand the uniqueness of our lehengas. Most of our lehengas are handcrafted by traditional artisans in Jaipur, India, ensuring each piece is distinctive and slightly different. The fabrics, embellishments, and embroidery may vary slightly due to their handmade nature.
All products undergo a two-step quality check before shipping.
It’s important to note that each lehenga, especially those with intricate details or custom fittings, may exhibit minor variations due to the artisanal techniques used. We ensure all products are delivered in excellent condition, but if you have any issues, please follow our exchange guidelines.
Exchange Policy
We only accept exchanges on a product of the same or higher value (after taxes) under the following circumstances:
- If there is a size issue.
- If the product is damaged in transit.
- If the product does not meet your personal expectations.
Please note that nose rings, due to hygiene reasons, and custom-stitched lehengas cannot be exchanged under any circumstances.
For bridal lehengas, please ensure the correct size is selected before placing your order. Any size modifications may be subject to availability and might require additional time if the design is unavailable. Some designs may be discontinued or unavailable for customization, so we urge customers to discuss such concerns with our WhatsApp team or refer to the size guide before placing an order.
Exchange and return/cancellation policies are not applicable to products delivered outside India.
International Orders
For international orders, in case of minor damage, such as the opening of seams or minor stitching issues, we suggest you use the extra threads and fabric packaged with the product. These issues may arise due to customs checking, despite careful packaging. Unfortunately, such situations are beyond our control.
If you’re unable to repair it at your end, it is advised to have the piece carried or sent back with someone traveling to India (safely packaged). Please avoid using logistics services to ship the product back.
We will provide the best resolution possible to address any concerns regarding your product or delivery.
Steps for Exchange (Only Valid for Shipments Delivered Within India)
- Opening video is a must for exchange.
- Please inform us within 36 hours of receiving your order. Email us at ijorethnic@gmail.com with live images/videos of the product in its original packaging and a valid reason for the exchange.
- Include your name, contact number, address, and order number in the email.
- Ship the product back the same or the next day after exchange confirmation, providing valid tracking details/docket ID with the dispatch date.
- The product must be packed carefully with all accessories and items received (e.g., drawstrings, jewelry care card, hooks, stoppers, pouches, etc.) along with the bubble wrap.
- Shipping charges for the return must be borne by the customer.
Once the product is received and passes our quality check, a credit note will be issued, allowing you to purchase another item within a month of exchange.
Please note: Shipping charges for the new product selected in exchange will be free.
Refunds are not available.
At Ijor, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In case of any damaged products, manufacturing defects, or if you receive a product different from the one you ordered, we offer an easy return and refund policy.

Damaged Products or Manufacturing Defects:
If you receive a saree that is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement.
Wrong Item Received:
If you receive a saree that is different from the one you ordered, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement of the correct item.

Please record a clear and uncut video of yourself unboxing the product. This video will help us assess the condition of the saree upon arrival and expedite the return process.

Important Information
User-induced damage:
We will not be able to offer returns or replacements for sarees that have been damaged due to user negligence or improper care.
Time to Inform:
Customers have 48 hours from the date of delivery to inform us of any damage, defect, or wrong item received.

Additional Return Conditions
1. The items should be unused and unwashed for hygiene reasons.
2. The product should have the original packaging and tags in place. Items without the original tags will not be accepted.
3. Return/Exchange requests not raised within 10 days of receiving the product will not be accepted.
4. The product would be picked up in 5 to 7 days after approval of the return or exchange request.
Cancellation Policy
1. If you must cancel an order, please do so before your order is shipped.
2. If you cancel your order before it has been shipped, we will refund the entire amount.
